Recruitment and Stuff
Not sure who all still checks the forums but here goes...

Might be too early to speculate about all this but I can only assume that at least some of us will still be playing at launch, I know I will.

With that in mind should we open up some formal recruitment process to try and snag a few extra players? Or we could just do the general Scare Bears thing and let people come in organically as they play with/against/around us.

As far as an official leader goes, do we just go with the defaco leader of Findog? He has kind of been the head scare bear for a while now anyways Smile I'm happy to take on some or most of the responsibility but my vote would definitely go towards Findog if he's up for it.

Somewhat related, are we going to be a merc clan? Cause for the record, I'm totally down for that.

RE: Recruitment and Stuff
I think its too early to say if we will be a merc clan. Sounds cool, but it will depend on what the end game is going to look like.

As for an official leader, I'm not sure I have the time to dedicate to that. I say we just roll with whatever happens and the people who want to step up and be leaders can be leaders. I'm cool with Ciez leading too. After we discus things we generally come to a consensus anyways so the results will generally be similar no matter who the is leader. (As long as it's not Hitler, that dudes cray cray)

Whhhhhhhhhhhhat Hitler is still alive? No way. And all this time I thought the people saying he escaped to South America were crazy.

I'm down for the merc clan thing but... it's hard to say if that will be a thing in Albion. Territory wars being 5v5 and castle fights being 20v20 don't lend themselves to the life of a mercenary unless it involves dropping clan to join up with the attackers/defenders temporarily, winning the fight and then dropping back. Now if you can help a clan attack/defend a territory/castle without being part of the attacking/defending guild we'll be in business.

I think at the very least our goal should be to make a name for ourselves as a small group of skilled & coordinated PVPers roaming around in the red/black zones. Even then perhaps we could sell escort services to gatherers/crafters trying to move goods out of red/black into green to sell.

I'm happy to lead if Findog doesn't have time, especially if we keep the main decision making to the core members as usual.

RE: Recruitment and Stuff
I've also been going through the forums and cherry picking some people posting that they're looking for guilds - the ones that look like they'd be a good fit. Does anyone know if we still need to manually register forum accounts for them once we decide whether or not they'd work out as full members?

Yea accounts are still manual. You should be able to create accounts Ciez. all you need is an email(it can be fake) a username and password and you can set someone up takes 2 sec's

RE: Recruitment and Stuff
I don't know if they have an official website. This is the link I found a little while back:

https://forum.albiononline.com/index.php...rg-NA-TS3/

I forget how I figured out that they were playing Albion Online but I knew of them in ArcheAge.
